| Estate Management System (EMS) |
| Intranet facility Booking System (IFBS) |
| Consider
the way your organizations resources are being shared now. We may be talking about the 1 teleconferencing system, 5 computer rooms, 20 slide projectors and 100 terminals that a school owns. These are the resources that should be fully utilized. There should be no wastage through idle slots, or double bookings. We may be talking about a private library of reference materials, acts & statutes that the lawyers/accountants refer to and rely on. These are the resources that they should have access to as and when. The Intranet Facility Booking System (IFBS) is designed to maximize returns on, and facilitate control over an organizations shared resources. Each IFBS is customized to suit the size and nature of the shared facility. For efficient and effective use of your organizations resources, the plain old record book system just wont do. |
| Facility Management |
| The backbone
of the system. The companys facility and the parameters for usage are listed in this module. For example, in a training center scenario, lecturers have authority to book entire training rooms, while students only have access to booking individual terminals or discussion rooms. |
| Facility Booking |
| A user-friendly
interface allows the user to make booking for the facilities. There is
no overriding of policies under the IFBS. As an example, the system administrator can set limits like no usage of the facility on Christmas day, or no booking by the same user more than 3 times per week. |
| Facility Administration |
| This module
allows the authorized system administrator to set the parameters for usage of facilities. As employees come and go, the system administrator can add new user or delete existing user from the list. He is also able to view the user list conveniently at any one time. The same procedure applies to the setting of holidays. The System Administrator is able to define a holiday, edit or delete an existing holiday. He can also choose to view an existing list of holidays. |
| Management Reporting |
| The beauty
of the IFBS lies in the ease with which the System Administrator can generate Booking Summary Reports and Resource Utilization Reports. This valuable information tells you if you have a white elephant in the teleconferencing system, or maybe your trainers dont have enough slide projectors to go round. |
| System Configuration |
| Client-server based or Intranet based platform. |
| Client-Server Platform |
| The Client-Server based version consists of a server and several workstations. The server is solely for storing common databases and routines while workstations are for users to perform the functions available in the system. |
| Intranet Platform |
| Users access and run the system via Internet browser, such as IE5 and Netscape. |
| Other Systems |
| 1. MOBILE
FACILITY INSPECTION SYSTEM (MFIS) 2. MOBILE CLEANING INSPECTION SYSTEM (MCIS) 3. SMART AVS ELECTRONIC GUARD TOUR SYSTEM (AVS) |
