| Estate Management System (EMS) |
| Mobile Cleaning Inspection System (MCIS) |
| The cleaning
business is today a $200 million industry, and it is still growing at 10% per year. With the industry becoming more sophisticated, what does it take for you to be better than the contractor next door? Can you be more Cost Effective? Or, can you be more Reliable? |
| The Mobile Cleaning Inspection System (MCIS) is Designed with 2 Clear Objectives in Mind: |
| 1. Effective Supervision |
| Cleaner
Attendance and Cleaning Inspection results are recorded on the supervisors PDA, then sent to the host computer via remote (wireless) access connection. Each supervisor becomes more productive, while producing more reliable work. |
| 2. Effective Budgeting and Cost Control |
| A Work Costing
Module allows accurate budgeting of manpower and material costs based on preset formulas. This reduces the guess work in the bidding stage. Periodic costs reports allow tighter costs control during the term of the contract. The Work Planner Module and the Work Alert Module reduce reliance on manual planning and supervision. The MCIS - a fine example of PDA technology application.. |
| Costing |
| Possibly
the most important component in any cleaning contract. For every job planned, the system calculates the manpower and material costs, based on preset formulas. No danger of under-quoting in the bidding stage. Also, periodic cost reports allow effective cost control along the term of the contract. |
| Planning |
| The Work
Planner Module enables the user to schedule work on a monthly basis, up to 12 months in advance. This is similar to the existing method of planning on paper, minus the mess of carrying all that paperwork around. |
| Work Alert |
| The Work
Alert Module reminds the user of work scheduled to be performed. The risk of human oversight is reduced. |
| Management Reporting |
| Periodic
Service Reports, Management Reports, Exception Reports and so on can be generated with the click of a mouse. Time and effort saved on running through pages and pages of records to compile these reports. |
| Remote Update |
| The cornerstone
of the MCIS. Each cleaning supervisor carries a PDA on their inspection rounds. A GSM/GPRS Remote Access Module is built into the PDA so that inspection results can be sent instantly to the host computer that resides in the office. Officers in the office are able to retrieve virtually real-time information about the site, and take necessary actions. |
| Cleaner Attendance |
| Instead
of physically marking on an attendance sheet, supervisors can now track cleaner attendance with his PDA. The Attendance Module in the PDA allows user to mark cleaner attendance on the work site. Attendance records can then be updated to the host computer to generate attendance reports. Payroll and costing work is at the same time simplified. |
| System Configuration |
| Client-server based or Intranet based platform. |
| Client-Server Platform |
| The Client-Server based version consists of a server and several workstations. The server is solely for storing common databases and routines while workstations are for users to perform the functions available in the system. |
| Intranet Platform |
| Users access and run the system via Internet browser, such as IE5 and Netscape. |
| Other Systems |
| 1. MOBILE
FACILITY INSPECTION SYSTEM (MFIS) 2. INTRANET FACILITY BOOKING SYSTEM (iFBS) 3. SMART AVS ELECTRONIC GUARD TOUR SYSTEM (AVS) |
