iLight
What:
This device is part of Singapore’s Smart City 2015 Plan
How:
Using our IoT device, we facilitate the transmission and exchange of data between street lights for analytical purposes.
The IoT device, found in the street lights, uses a NEMA 7-pin photocontrol interface, with a built-in ZigBee communication protocol, and 4G LTE high-speed wireless in the Gateway.
Why:
Environmental data is processed in real-time to control the precise amount of light needed. This will help Singapore conserve more energy and power in the future.
By adopting a “use only what we need” mentality powered with data analytics and IoT technology, we are headed for a more sustainable future.
