The 5G Modem / Router
TeaM1-5GM is the first industrial-grade 5G modem available in the market. Powerful and robust, this IP67 compliant technology functions flawlessly even in harsh environments and after extended exposure to the elements of water, dust and heat.
Ruggedised and yet portable, this lightweight RF modem with industry-standard IP integration is powered by a 9~48VDC power supply making it suitable for vehicles, maritime vessels, railways and other outdoor applications.
It seamlessly connects local devices to the internet through mobile 3G/4G/5G (Sub –6Ghz) networks provided by Internet Service Providers in both SA and NSA mode.
Background
From Singapore Business Review
“M1 will also collaborate with TeamOne Technologies to support the development of local capabilities within Singapore’s small and medium-sized enterprises.
TeamOne has plans to design and develop the world’s first aeronautical certified 5G SA communication modem for urban air mobility (UAM) operations. This 5G modem will be tested and optimised during the trials.”
The modem/router is known as TeaM1-5GM. It is designed and developed as an industrial-grade 5G SA/NSA modem/router.
TeaM1-5GM was passed the environmental test under the DO-160F Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment Standard.
